Delete account and data
You can delete your account and all data belonging to it at any time. Here is how it works with the app and without.
In the app
- Open Settings > Account > Delete account.
- Sign in again and type the word DELETE to confirm.
- The app first deletes all your entries in the cloud (Google Firebase, Frankfurt), then your account and finally all data on the device. This happens immediately and cannot be undone.
If you only want to delete the entries and keep the account, choose Settings > Delete all data.
Without the app
Send an email to support@glp1tracker.de with the subject “Delete account”, from the email address you signed in with. If you signed in with Apple, please also state the relay address if you know it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
We then delete your account at Firebase and all entries in the cloud and confirm this to you by email, within one month at the latest. We do this deletion by hand.
What is deleted and what is not
- Deleted: your account at Firebase Authentication, all entries and settings in the cloud and, with the app, all data on the device.
- On request we also delete by hand the data that belongs to your account: events of the usage statistics at PostHog (linked to the ID of your account) and purchase data at RevenueCat. The app does not trigger this deletion itself; it only resets the statistics ID on the device. So write to us if you want this data gone as well.
- Error reports at Sentry contain no ID of your account and cannot be assigned to you. They are deleted automatically after the set period.
- Your subscription runs through Apple or Google and does not end by deleting. Cancel it in the settings of your app store.
- Google may keep deleted data for a limited time in its own infrastructure backups until they are overwritten.
